We celebrated World Book Day this week on March 2nd. We dressed up as some of our favourite  characters, including our teacher! We did a lot of work on our class novel, Charlie and the  Chocolate Factory, and we even got to design our own bookmarks! Here are some examples of our own designs of The Chocolate Room and the inventing Room from our novel.


We have library time every Tuesday. We can borrow books and read them in a quiet space.

We had a visit from a professional storyteller this week. It was brilliant! He told us fictional stories and we are going to do some big writing next week based on the stories. In P.E we were learning to shoot a ball into a hoop accurately. We also learnt how to do an over arm throw in net ball.
